Chris teaches both Western Civilization Courses (Hist 103 and 104), European History and Philosophy/ Comparative Religion.
In 1992 and 1993, he conducted a Mini-Study Abroad class for 3 weeks to Greece, Rome and Florence, and in Fall 1995, a Semester Abroad Program to Florence, Italy, with SBCC Art History Professor Nina Morlan. This Semester Abroad class was offered again in Florence in Spring 2000.
From 24 June - 7 July, 1998, he led a Study Abroad program in Ireland sponsored by Adult Education at SBCC. This cultural enrichment class (not for college credit) focused on Stone Age, Early Celtic, and Early Christian Ireland. The artifacts and monuments from these periods (3000 BC to 700 AD) are of exceptional historical interest and make a visit to Ireland unique.
